Volunteers
Now that the shelter is open we need lots of volunteers to help with the daily operations and pet care. Of course we also still need help with our upcoming fundraisers, events and capital campaign. Please contact us by mail, e-mail or phone if you would like more information or if you are interested in helping out!
Soon you will also be able to enter all your volunteer information and interests in this page, so we can be sure and utilize your specific interests and experience.
Volunteer Orientation/training sessions are currently scheduled for:
Sunday, July 25 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m
Tuesday, July 27 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, August 10 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 15 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, August 23 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 29 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 7 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, September 19 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, Septermber 27 from 11:00 am to 1:00 p.m.
Please call the shelter at 443-6699 and let us know when you plan to attend or you are welcome to just show up. All volunteers need to attend a session before helping out at the shelter.
We can't do it without you so please feel free to lend us a hand.
