No-Kill Animal Shelter

is located at 125 Cattail Avenue, Marathon, adjacent to Highway 29 and 152nd Avenue, just 1 mile east of Marathon City.  

Monday & Friday 10-6
Tuesday & Thursday 10-8

Saturday & Sunday 11-3
Closed Wednesday

Exit Hwy O North

Turn Right onto Hwy O

Turn Left onto Cut Rock Rd.

At Stop sign, turn right onto N. 120th Ave.

At Stop sign, turn left onto Highland Dr.

Turn left onto 152nd Ave.

Turn right onto Cattail Ave.




Coming from Wausau west on Hwy 29, go past facility.

Take Exit to Hwy 107.

Turn right on Hwy 107.

Turn right on Highland Dr.  

Turn Right on 152nd Ave.  Follow right to Cattail Avenue.





Coming from east on Hwy 29,

Take Exit to Hwy 107.

Turn left on Hwy 107

Turn right on Highland Dr.

Turn right on 152nd Ave.  Follow to Cattail Avenue.

 Adoption Application can be found under our Documents section at the top left on our home page.   Please print the form and once completed mail it to us.  The ASPCA Meet Your Match survey form is also needed for adoption processing.

Surrender Donations vary upon if the animal is neutered or spayed.  For more information on how to surrender your animal, please call the shelter.

If you are looking for a specific pet, we do keep a waiting list at the shelter.  Please contact us if you would like to be added to the list, and we will call you if that type of pet becomes available for adoption.
